The small creek we catch our freshwater baby fish, crabs(yes crabs), prawns and tadpole(tinkai)

The largest tadpole I have seen in my life. Size of my thumb..tot it was a fish at first... cool

The big river where we tried to fish for larger fish but the river water was quite murky due to upstream rain.

Holidays in MONSOON !!!

I had a blast of weekend holiday(Nov 17- Nov 21st 2007). Went down to Pahang with dad and we went fishing and some hunting sport. Excellent. A great getaway. Pahang was monsoon time and at times was raining but was bearable for those who dont mind a lil rain. After the rain, the day was perfect.

Beautiful site at a loggin area on the way to Pekan where they take out the small logs via a boat tru the river.

Here's the fish I caught after the logs and the boat went away. However many fish wud have gone into hiding with such commotion. Took me 2hours on the same spot when I had my 1st bite. Plenty of wasp flying around and landed on my hands to suck on my sweat.. yeesh but bearable as they dont bite. Smoking offer me a lil peace though.

The fish above was longer than my 9" shoe. Quite heavy. This Haruan is black as it follows the water color for camoflouge. Nature finds a way. This is a fish from the forest which is very aggresive. Once my bait lands on the water the fish had already pulled it4- 5 feet away before i knew it. Pull it to yank the hook in place and .. after some menuvering to avoid the fish frm goin under the logs... i got it ! Got a second one immediately i cast the bait in. Excellent ! And it was larger ! . Wild fish are very strong and agressive however sometimes the weather plays a role before it will bit the bait. Fishing... LOL. What a beautiful place

ZARD :Tribute 1967 - 2007

It's been awhile i surf the net about Jpop with all my 14hrs work but when i find the time, I also found a sad thing, one of my favorite singer from the 90's has passed on.

She is non-other than the girl on the picture- ZARD real name Izumi Sakai.

Izumi passed away on May 27 2007. She is reported to have diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2006 and which she was recovering. On and off she was in hospital doing therapy, unfortunately, on May 27, sometime in the evening Izumi took a walk at one of the hospital exit , she slipped and fell on her head. She was found the next morning , rushed to the emergency ward and died without regaining conscious. She was only 40.

ZARD has have many, many great songs and she even sang theme song for DragonBall GT "Dan Dan KoKoro" . Songs of hers can be obtain in YouTube, Divx6 and many more fan sites. Do look it up.
Wikipedia has alsom any information about her. Search for ZARD or Izumi Sakai.

Izumi herself is also a great song writer and have wrote many great song and is said to have wrote up to 150songs comparable to Mr.Children-Kazutoshi Sakurai.

The card shown on the bottom is the memorial card given away to visitors on her funeral memorial with an engraving of her.
Her songs are great and powerful. I am sure many fans would have missed her. I have been listening to her song right after high school and even when i started working. Attached is a midi file from her song, maybe some of you may knw the song. May she rests in peace.

Life would have seem normalised with all the shit happening around the metropolis, i just had to get out. I managed to get a days leave and plus weekend , i was off 3 freakin days with my wife.

Not without it's perks I was paged and calls from my fellow team mates. I dont blame em, life in city is hectic with all the bustling work still pending.
Anyhow, as bad as it was I was back in Kuantan, Pahang hometown. Homesweet home.

Reach Ktn on Friday after 3pm. Took some live frogs for dad's fishing trips, met him for lunch over at Karak highway with the jap dude.
Not bad.. nice meal but we reach evening at Ktn.

Dad had to carry a boat for his fishing trip at 6pm so we tag along to the metal plant, saw the freaking boat was 10feet long !

Took it up, and tied it carefully with all our might on the Toyota Hilux(the best 4wd)

Drove back carefully to the house, pickup the boat engine.... wah Toyota is toyota...

Anyhow, here's the pics... taken an Sungai Lembing.... nice quiet town with a nice stream with rocks and clear water.
Below is 2 dudes tat was walking around an insists i take their pics...LOL

On the left is the mining hole left over by the miners over at Sg Lembing. It was eerie and yet was um.. very cool. My batteries was running as we were looking for crabs and fishes durign the night at the seaside lagoon.

There are multiple holes like this all over the town. Dad says they are the longest and depest site in the world. I havent verified that. It wud be cool to go in. But we were not clothed properly or had any proper torchlight so we took a pass.
This Sg.Lembing town is actual a minin town ages back durin the 70's. They were so succesfull they were actually a free trade town. After the mining of the ore market collapse so did it. The whole town is now a cowboy town nowdays. 1 out of 15 shops is opened-ed with very little thingys... in it.
It is kinda sad .. but yet the place gives you a strange feeling as it have some hanging bridges , about 3-4 across the river which is along the town. Cool.

Life stinks..
I'm back now after a long time.. been busy with work.
Work frm 9am till 9pm. Weekends also work. Damn shit or wat.
Here are some "good" points I have currently been gifted :
1) I work frm 9am till 9pm
2) I get no cooperation frm my own dept.
3) I do everything include supervisions of renovation
4) I do supervision for the cable guys
5) I work with users to get things done
6) I do cabling myself
7) I work Saturdays and Sundays (Sat on midnites)
8) I can't take leave
9) I cannot fix my car due to no time
10) i cannot do my banking since i work every day

What a load of horseshit. Today in the STAR Newspaper it says that Umno Overseas Clubs Alumni Organisation has lodged a police report on Teresa Kok on the recent squadgate incident for distributing pronography publicly.

What crap, then you have to catch all the parliment ministers that watched it as they were appalled over the incident ? Also catching the viewers of RTm and TV3 that broadcasted part of the "pornography" ? Come on, it's a sad act caught on a camera phone. You have to charge the whole of Malaysia for watching it. Since part of the film is also part of pornography if you called it. LOL What a laugh..

Teresa got my support in this and so does many Malaysians. In trying to protect the integrity of Malaysia so they so speak, they've forgoten this issue happened bcoz the cops has some policy which has yet to be rectified and improved. It's been a long time again since my last posting..
I was busy getting my Project KO online and shud be getting my roadtax so I can bring my car back to Kuala Lumpur.

Then i will be able to go around camping around the coastal areas.. COOL
A WIRA is not a car one should be driving around to such rough areas for fishing,
hunting and camping.

Once it's up and running, I'll be able to bring some pals up for some cool spots.
Then can go mandi laut, and get the car wet also ok , cos it's A 4WD !! A small one though... it's a Short WheelBase TOYOTA LANDCRUISER II (2.4 Diesel) old car but highly in demand...

I'l be dropping by some remote seaside in the Pahang side and also Terengganu side for some of the beach where us normal ppl don't go. Hell a lot of you guys dont even know it's better than Phuket, Bali or even Phi Phi i guess..

FINAL FANTASY VII - ADVENT CHILDREN

FINAL FANTASY VII - ADVENT CHILDREN. Thats the name that keeps ringing in my mind and finally the DVD is out.. It's been 8 years since the game came out.
What can I say, It was EXCELLENT. Gamers like me(last time) played and completed the game after mths of playing and it was worth it !
Excellent game, great music by Nobuo and loving story. It has a love story involved in it and it really brings out some part of you. After the game was finished you'd be dreaming of it. Thats how good.

This DVD is in production for 3years after the conclusion of the game.
The even hid Aerith(Cloud's love) from fans and the world for the past 2 years of the making, no one had screenshots of knew what she wud be like in the movie.

Finally we saw it... and she was beautiful. Well worth the wait. Eventhough it was only for seconds (she cudn't be shown more than that bcoz she was killed by Sephiroth in the game). As I was saying, even for seconds it was great, and it was meaningful. It brought the same feeling when we played the game and the same wonderful feeling when you complete the movie.

Here is the pic fans only see before the movie was launched, Aerith was a well kept secret and directors inform fans that we won't be dissapointed. He was RIGHT !

Another one of those weeks... Just got back from Cameron Highlands last weekend for camping. Nice place, clean with toilets.

We basicly pigged ourselves out eating barbeque at every meal..
But it's a nice place with a stream running by it and lotsa trees .
However it was raining so it was kinda ok lah drizzling.
Good thingy Kev brought a gazebo there , we all hurdle underneath an
lepak there all day long. Love the raing..was fun. Should do it again.

I have finally had it up to the top of my head..
I can't stand all of this crap.

Why the discount's of buying property is for bumiputra only ? Why can't it also go across the board for the lower income group ?
I cannot help but ask myself this question everytime "Why is it because a family bumiputera who makes RM1500 get's housing discount but another of a different ethnicity with family who also makes RM1500 cannot get the same benefit ? Is this fair or is this racial ?

Pls do not compare us with Indonesia. We always benchmark ourselves against losers. We shouldnt be. We should benchmark against the better countries. Eg:Singapore, Australia.etc

Hurrican Katrina, how bad was it ?

Hurrican Katrina, a disaster.. I have not thought that it's devastating power would be such a catastrophe. It's happening to the world superpower US ! . Goin tru the internet pictures made me feel like the same disaster as the Tsunami in Acheh. In fact it is similarly the same. The only diff. here is that many tens thousands in New Orleans survived. hence looters & riots have begun. WIth such mass population in dire need of help & aid, ppl will turn against each others.

Some said US could have done better jobs in giving aid to their own people. But whats to gauge how an aid is handle ? With looters & riots similarly to SOMALIA, one cannot expect much even with the technology & weapons. What SHOOT every freaking jackass carrying something what might look it was stolen from the local KMART ?
No , things are not as simple as it seems. Try organising a chinese wedding dinner, x 50,000(the number of people displaced ,probably more)
Who knows, maybe they are slow.. well it's up to the senate to decide.

It's been awhile since I read XiaXue's blog. Stumbled across tonite on our MERDEKA 48th Celebration. For those local morons it's also called Malaysia Independence Day (31st August 2005)

I'm working midnite in the office while the rest of the world is out for teh tarik or the more "free-er" ones actually go to KLCC for fireworks. Saw it right at my office(my office is about 2 blocks away). Nice...

Anyway, XiaXue is one strange(not negative mind you) gurl I can tell you. I do not know how to explain but maybe DISCOVERY channel wanna have a go with her and come up with some documentary. Her blog has tons of pictures & also her comments & daily ramblings. I love blogs with pics, it helps to make it more entertaining.
She has got my vote. however she does have her "hate xiaxue" fan websites & stalkers..LOL (lots of laughters).

According to her blog she has just recently came to KL & now back in her nest in Singapore. She actually commented about us (KL ppl lah).
However, I do not disagree with her. In fact her comments are preety much accurate,
eventhough her shopping & makan could need a little help from the locals.
Beside's it's her website like my blog is my website.
She should go to Kuantan eh gang ? A much quieter place unlike KL,
a horrid place with it's traffic jams like I always say so.

Many don't know it but there are some small lil things around us which are beautiful. Example a patch of hibscus spawned itself on the beach floor. Beautiful. This top pic of Hibiscus was found on the beach in Kuantan . The place is called Taman Gelora. It's just right outside our resort where we bunk. What beautiful sight. We must have been right on time since hibiscus don't bloom too long. (it was also the spirit's day for chinese)

Taken by my mini CASIO Exilim 3.0Mp with no zoom lense. Just plan ol common sense & a nack for photography angle. Was kinda difficult but i pulled it off. :P

Globalisation : Can we handle it

Globalisation, thats a strong word.. a word which we are still pondering if we cud actually handle it. Some Malaysians say we can others say we can't.
As my humble opinion, we far from it. We still practice certain policies which protects & benefits race distribution. Policies & benefits to the needy would be good but fixing to one race is purely one sided an agenda which could eventually go the other way around if not balance it. Maintaining racial harmony by racial segregation ... is not the way to go. Until we have learn to be equals & not benefecting the rich & connected only..are we really ready for globalisation. How justify are we to say it has to benefit by race & not by reasons it is required. Malaysia have already declared independence since 1957, & is close to 50years, yet todate there still exists 3rd class citizens because of racial segregation.
The removal of a preference groups to a lesser group may have a negative feedback in an affirmative action.(extract from HooverDigest.com article) Sad but true

Well well it was the land of the moo moo land... just got back from camping from an invitation from a fren of mine. A 4X4 excursion to bring some clothes & books for the orang asli settlement. It was a some sort of charity drive..preety good organizing.. Cheers.

5hours drive from the starting point of cvilization as it was freaking raining. Muddy, some holes.. & sawing some trees as you can see from the crocodile dundee chopping down a fallen tree. LOL :)Hard work .

Once we reach there it was beautiful with some flowers, streams.. All in all it was great, nice hidden place hidden in the valley with waterfalls & freshwater. Remind me to bring full equip to camp. Apprently the other guys we were with camping luxuriously with cooking stoves, trampolines, axes...all the luxury items. So much things yet to buy.. heheh . I only had a camping bad, but it was good enough... back to back with nature... Cheers..would wana go some other time again..

Will be going for my wild board hunting again sometime next 2 weeks... that'l be cool.

The past whole month we've ben seeing many moths around Malaysia. Singapore has also reported it. We've seen moths but have we seen so many and almost everyday ?

One(some beliefs) would think it could be visitors, but visitors everyday outside your house ? LOL (lots of laughter)
There could be some factors due to this outbreak of moths... limited natural predators, quality of the weather, rain or sun... etc

Well some people may not notice the abundance of them around... but do look more careful & be wary...it could mean the end of things to come....

Have you seen anything so beautiful about the Grand Canyon ? This is GOOGLE EARTH. Google has come out with a new search engine for
users to look/search all over the world for locations. The system combines satelite imagery(love to say that), maps, pictures & CGI(computer graphic interfaces)..to come out with the best image or if at best detail pics of you home !

Look at it & marvel at it. However, due to overwelming demand in the website they have shut down the download of the software. This is in BETA testing & I have use it prior to this..it was grate, you can even move around the little maps. Alas, I was too late to download the latest Beta software b4 they pulled it offline.

Days... the days are getting harder to go by. My mind is not clear, not focused & just space of emptyness.

I speak to myself at times especially during the night. Does this means I am losing my mind ? Work is the the most likely cause of the problem. My own diagnostics proves that this is causing depression & could well escallate into something else. It probably already did as much damage already as I deny it. At times i'd began to become defensive, hurting people as I go along. This is bad, real bad.

How will the transition of the problems I am going tru go by ? Probably not but it has gone far too deep down the rabbit's hole. Comming out wont't be easy. Outsiders would never thought me, Charlie going out of my mind, hell I'm suppose to be the invincible one.

Guess NOT. I'll probably need to see a shrink... maybe get myself institutionalized ? Maybe... only time will tell how far a person can actually go beyond rationalization , or just snap. Things are not always as they seem, and my life seems worthless at times. But striving for the loved ones is what keeps one going, hell god chose me bcoz I cud handle it ? Am I able to do just that ?

Just happen I was surfing aimlessly & happen to surf to an X-japan website & it brings back memories.Beautiful songs, great rock playing.. but X-Japan is all about virtual rock.

The 5 man band was created a while back all the way to 1988 with numerous ppl changing but the most influential was Hide & Yoshiki. The band was split up sometime before 1997 but was secretly suppose to be reunite until the sudden suicide of HIDE in May 2nd 1998(he was the guitarist).

"I believe hide's death was an accident," said X Japan leader Hayashi Yoshiki at a hastily called press conference the night before the funeral. Sensing the worst, he appealed to the guitarist's fans: "Please do not follow him. Do not commit suicide. Please see him off to heaven warmly."

It was not to be. Within days of the rocker's death, three girls killed themselves in copycat suicides. The first victim, aged 15, was found hanging in her bedroom - described as virtually a shrine to hide - in Chofu. She died in hospital May 7. X-Japan was suppose to perform a memorial in 2000 but was axed as they felt it woul become too commercial.

Unbeknown to some, Yoshiki was asked to perform to the emperor of Japan & Yohsiki played the song Anniversary which was an orchestra piece. Coming from them most people would have though them to be rockers & not balla or the orchestratic type. WRONG !
Yoshiki later joined Tetsuya Kimura's GLOBE which was also a great band...

When X-Japan performs ballads it was always great songs.. midi playing here is from X-Japan "Forever Love". X-Japan also had did some songs in anime soundtracks..

Yawn........ It's now 737am. So tired after a hectic nightshift ..
& I've got a photoshoot plus some things to do at the office. Things are starting to turn sour, all the negative effects, aura , all causing bad influence to me that i've slowed down my work pace. No confidence & all..

at 0015hrs I felt dizzy as I checking out some email at work(I am working midnite shift today)
I tot I was sick, felt my whole body shaking. I stopped, placed my hand on my chest & though i was having a stress or some sort if not hearth attack as the head was moving my body was moving..
Didn't say much after awhile I went downstairs for a smoke.
Spot a few chicks downstairs with their face expression scared knew something was down!

Found out it was an EARTHQUAKE !! It was a tremor felt by the whole building ! CITIBANK Building KL was having the jolts ! Checked all our ATM was working, some guards, building management was around. Spot a few chicks downstairs with their face expression scared knew something was down! A check with the other JB & Penang branch shows they felt the tremors too... no problem arise though..
Updated my bosses & checked all other 24hr units ok.

All KL was in panic with reports of Klang Sungai Buloh, Putrajaya where residents felt the tremores & building was evacuated. Golden triangle of KL where hotels & high rise was also affected. Penang & Johor felt the most of the tremors. No sign of aftershocks or Tsunami yet..

As you can see on the pic, the earthquake was a 8.2 on richter scale(by US Geo) hitting the indonesia coast Northern Sumatra at 00:09:37 Malaysia Time on Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center place the earthquake at 8.7 . About the same fault lines with 26Dec2004 disaster ! Sad, another hit on the island & the country would never recover. This is bad, anything bove 8 richter scale is consider large. Picture is taken from the US Geo.

Keep ya posted if we could be feeling the aftershocks. What a day, not to mention today is a special day for me too.... :)

After so long, I finally got my Final Fantasy VII figure : Aerith Gainsborough -by KOTOBUKIYA. I must say it was an excellent cold cast figure, completely pre-painted & was carefully wrapped in a styrofoam box,comes with a nice solid base unit with the word: FINAL FANTASY VII for the figure.

This is my 1st Kotobukiya figure & I am very impressed. The eye detailing & face is as detail with no scratches nor colors out of place, & most of all it looks just like the Aerith from the game Just as it is. Just perfect. Finally, I've got it... something which has been chewing on me.. for years.

So, go get one or you will regret it. I didnt get this last 2 years ago & only until recently did they re-release so get yours quick !

Same techno guys that did the CGI movie , Final Fantasy Movie(US Collaboration).It was a great show but Americans prefer SHREK(hehe it's true) but if you ask me, I find Final Fantasy the movie is far more greater due to it's technological ideas & also it's realistic human colors & skin texture. Get it on DVD if you haven't watch it yet...

Image shown on the rite was taken at Petronas-OIL Kerteh, Terengganu a while back. The plant goes for couple of miles on both left & right side of the road.. Damn huge with billions(er..maybe thousands of lights) with several towers burning off excess fuel gas. These gasses are deemed useless & are so toxic they have to be burned b3fore dispensing out to the atmosphere. They burn non-stop 24hours I would think, even in the rain. makes the whole kerteh lighted up like a city or ..the Fires of MORDOR(LOTR). Several tourists confirms this...
